Synopsis

Dorohedoro is really weird, to the point that there is nothing else in the anime that compares. He's gory and full of grotesque monsters, but he's also pretty funny. Definitely more fun than scary. Everything is run down, dirty and overcrowded, but there is life around every corner, happily creeping on. Q Hayashida has created a gloomy and dirty world and populated it with lots of merry monsters. That's really what you see mostly in this first episode, that Dorohedoro is full of life. It is a master class in world construction.
